On December 17, 2025, AIST Soluions (AISol), together with the general incorporated association "OpenSUSI," signed a memorandum of understanding with NY Creates to accelerate research and development and technical cooperation aimed at the development of the semiconductor industry.
Based on this MOU, AISol will accelerate cooperation in exploring design capabilities and enabling open EDA to support workforce development and educational semiconductor advancement, and developing cost effective access to advanced technology through custom MPW capabilities and services.
